Before or after your visit to The Whistle Stop, Clara invites you to explore 'her town'. Originally named Clarksville, the name was changed to Beetown and then to Beeton after David Jones established his apiaries here in the 1870s and made it the honey and bee-breeding capital of Canada. The charming Main Street houses many one-of-a-kind shops whose merchants will make you most welcome. |
